We warmly welcome futsal-loving people from all nationalities in our ranks, and you can always contact us in English. We also speak many other languages (for example, Russian, Portuguese, French, Italian, Swedish...).
If you are living in Jyväskylä (for example, as an exchange student) and you wish to join KaDy for a try-out session, or become part of our management, or contact KaDy for training matches or any other form of co-operation, please do not hesitate to contact team staff.
If it turns out that KaDy #1 team is not the one for you, we will happily guide you to KaDy's other, less seriously competitive teams.
KaDy Futsal in a Nutshell
Kampuksen Dynamo (KaDy) was originally a football club founded in 1995 in Jyväskylä, Finland. In 2002, KaDy started competitive futsal from the bottom of the Finnish league pyramid. Since 2009, KaDy has played in the Finnish Futsal League.
Having finished 6th in its debut season 2009-2010, KaDy went on to claim two 2nd place finishes in a row (2010-2011 and 2011-2012), making a powerful breakthrough to the national futsal elite.
In the season 2012-2103 KaDy dominated the regular season by winning it with an 8-point margin, but the play-offs ended in disappointing bronze medals. However, KaDy won the Finnish Supercup 2012 and the Finnish Futsal Cup 2012–13.
The season 2013-2014 was a disappointment (ending with the 5th position), but 2014-2015 brought KaDy back to the top (silver medal). In 2015-2016 KaDy aimed at the Finnish championship after three silvers and one bronze in five years' time. The regular series ended with KaDy as the fifth, and the playoffs brought no fame as KaDy's flight came to a crash already in the quarter-finals.
In the season 2016-2017, with the return of the ace player and coach Mikko Kytölä and other elite-level enforcements from Catalonia and Tampere, KaDy returned to the top of the league; however, "Game Five" of the final series ended in the main rival Sievi FS's victory 3–2.
In the season 2017-2018, KaDy built a very strong team aiming to reach new heights in the lead of Montenegrin top coach Vasko Vujović. And the season was a big success! KaDy was the best team in all respects, winning all domestic titles (Final Four Cup, League regular series and the Finnish Championship).
In the season 2018-2019, KaDy won the Finnish Championship for the second time in a row; autumn 2019 will bring KaDy to UEFA Futsal Champions League for the second time. In 2018, KaDy progressed from Preliminary Round to the Main Round.
With season 2019–20 on the doorstep, KaDy participated in UEFA Futsal Champions League for the second time. Another big goal is to renew the Finnish Championship again, although many top players left KaDy in the summer of 2019 giving space for new promising stars. The season was un-finished due to Covid-2019 pandemic.
In the season 2020-2021, KaDy won the Finnish Championship for the third time in a row; autumn 2021 will bring KaDy to UEFA Futsal Champions League for the third time.
Ten KaDy players have had appearances in the National Team of Finland, many of them in a key role in the team (e.g. the Kytölä brothers, Sergei Korsunov and Lassi Lintula, plus former KaDy players Juha-Matti Savolainen, Miika Hosio and Jani Korpela).
We have a competitive and rapidly developing men’s second team that started as a U21 team but is now playing Regional Division II, Running since 2015, our 2nd team is a great opportunity for young players to develop and play competitive futsal, strengthened with a few more experienced players. At the moment our U19 Futsal League team is developing nicely in talented hands of Jukka Kytölä as their coach.
We are proud of our women’s team (founded 2015) that is playing in the Finnish League and finished 2020-2021 nicely 6th, as well as our super promising young girls playing the U18 Girls’ series and Women’s Futsal I Division.
We are in the process of putting together girls' and boys' teams in all age groups as soon as we get enough volunteers for running them. We are warmly welcoming all forces to start new teams. The men’s league team is supporting junior teams by coaching new futsal players. There is also the possibility to get started with futsal by joining KaDy Akatemia for young players.
Finally, KaDy occasionally draws together its (university) student force under the name of KaDy Students. KaDy Students won the Finnish student championship 5 times in a row (2010–14), and the team also participated the European Universities Futsal Championships in 2010 in Zagreb, 2011 in Tampere, 2012 in Córdoba, and 2013 in Antequera, Málaga. Since the summer of 2013, KaDy Students have been on a hiatus due to the low number of eligible players (university students aged under 28), but we are looking forward to revitalizing the team for students' championships once again.
